We are finally into February after enjoying 692 days of January! This week we are excited to watch our 5th graders perform Dancing Through the Decades. I hope your week is going beautifully and that you are settling into the rhythm of January with ease! I was recently listening to a podcast that explored the natural necessity of finding rest and comfort during these winter months. It was a lovely reminder that, just like the world outside, we also need to slow down and rejuvenate alongside nature. I’ve been trying to truly embrace that "wintering" mindset lately by being more intentional and mindful of my evening and weekend time. I hope you can find a moment to do the same. Consider this your permission to grab a favorite book and a warm blanket, and make some well-deserved time for coziness!

We are really in the holiday spirit around here at CME. We are having a door decorating contest put on by the student leadership and I have had some amazing Kindie moms in here making our main level look so beautiful and festive! Also, our first graders have been reading lots of books that follow the model of the Three Little Pigs, so I had to share a picture of their Wanted Posters! Check out the photos below!
