News From Candice!

Hello friends! I hope you have had a wonderful week and you’re all enjoying some sunshine before the snow this weekend!

1st Grade American Symbols Program - Our 1st graders did an amazing job presenting their learning about American symbols and songs. After watching them perform, my heart just swelled with pride for our country and all those who have served. Great job to Ms. Dew, Mrs. DeLeon & Ms. Muller and Mr. Novak for all the hard work they put in.

25-26 Class Placement due April 18th - Last chance to provide input for class placement for next year by filling out this FORM. After the deadline, we will not be able to grant requests. Thank you for understanding!

PEANUT BUTTER & JELLY FOOD DRIVE:

CME Student Leadership is teaming up with The Backpack Society for a drive to collect two of their most needed pantry ideas - peanut butter and jelly. Next week we will be collecting unopened jars here at school to support this wonderful organization. More details can be found here. Check out the flyer for more information!

Spring is here! This time of year always reminds me of how quickly the end of year comes around. That always means to me time for a BOOK FAIR! Kindergarten registration If you are currently enrolled in DCSD Preschool and you live in our boundary, you will automatically roll to us! All other Kindergarten students, enroll at the above link! If you live outside of our boundary but would like to attend CME, please open enroll here!

PARENT SUMMIT:

We’re excited to invite you to our upcoming Parent Summit on Tuesday, April 30th from 5:00–7:30 PM here at SVE!

This special evening is designed just for parents, featuring a dynamic keynote speaker and a variety of engaging sessions focused on supporting students both at home and at school. You can preview the full lineup of topics in the attached flyer and on the registration form.
