Battle of the Books - Last night I attended the last night of qualifying rounds for Battle of the books. We had two teams, one 3rd/4th and one 5th/6th. Congratulations to our 5th/6th grade team for making it into the playoffs! These kiddos have spent months preparing for this contest. They had to read 10 books multiple times over the last few months to get ready for a trivia style tournament. They have to work together as a team to come up with the correct title and author for each question. A special thanks to Ms. Hollist and her band of parent volunteers for leading the two teams! We are so lucky to have such cool opportunities for our students!
Talent Show - Next week our annual talent show will bring out all the CME Cougar talent! If you are looking for a fun family event, come join us next Thursday, 2/27 at 6:00 in the gym! We hope to see you there!!
