Hello CME Families!
I hope you have been enjoying this first bout of Spring…I know, we are not out of the weeds yet! We are just happy we can get the kiddos outside to play again. Please join us on Thursday evening for some family fun. Our talented students will be performing for us at 6:00 pm in the gym! They have been practicing and preparing for several weeks and we are so excited!
Playground After School - We love seeing our students enjoy the playground after school! Unstructured play is essential for developing problem-solving and social skills while giving kids a break from screens.
A few reminders:
Promethean TVs - I just wanted to thank our community for their generosity during our Fall Fundraiser. We were able to earn enough to get 10 Promethean TVs for classrooms. A Promethean TV is an interactive display designed for educational settings. It's essentially a large touchscreen panel, similar to a giant tablet, that teachers and students can use for lessons, collaboration, and interactive learning. Eventually, we would like to get them in every classroom!

Kindergarten registration If you are currently enrolled in DCSD Preschool and you live in our boundary, you will automatically roll to us! All other Kindergarten students, enroll at the above link! If you live outside of our boundary but would like to attend CME, please open enroll here!
