News from Candice
Hello Cougar Families! As we approach Thanksgiving, I want to take a moment to express my gratitude for your support, partnership, and trust during my first year as principal. It has been a joy to work alongside our amazing students, dedicated staff, and incredible families to create a thriving school community.
This time of year reminds us of the importance of family, togetherness, and reflection. I hope you have the opportunity to relax, enjoy quality time with loved ones, and celebrate all the things that bring joy and meaning to your lives.
From all of us here at Copper Mesa, thank you for being such an essential part of our community. We look forward to continuing to grow and learn together after the break!

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION:
Kindergarten registration opens on December 2, 2024! If you are currently enrolled in DCSD Preschool and you live in our boundary, you will automatically roll to us! All other Kindergarten students, enroll at the above link! If you live outside of our boundary but would like to attend CME, please open enroll here!
OPEN ENROLLMENT:
Open enrollment is now open! If you are an existing open enrollment family and you have an incoming kindergartener, you will need to open enroll your Kindie! Here is the OE page! If you know anyone interested in coming to Copper Mesa from outside our boundaries, let them know OE is now open until December 2nd at 4pm.
LOST AND FOUND:
Please visit our lost and found boutique! You might find what you were missing! ;) Items will be donated during Winter Break!
